About the Laboratory
The Agrobiotechnology Laboratory utilizes an unparalleled technology called “Artificial Sun®,” which replicates natural sunlight with the ability to adjust its characteristics across the ultraviolet, visible, and infrared spectra. This technology is highly relevant for conducting effective educational experiments and scientific research in the Agro/Bio field.
The operator of the Agrobiotechnology Laboratory has control over microclimatic factors such as sunlight, temperature, humidity level, wind intensity, as well as the characteristics of the water used for irrigation, thanks to the installed filtration system.

Skills
During the practical sessions, students will acquire the following skills:
- Creating virtually any plant spectrogram and adjusting its characteristics across the ultraviolet, visible, and infrared spectra
- Studying the improvement and alteration of the qualitative properties of water from the general water supply system using filters
- Gaining experience in modifying and selecting the chemical composition of water
- Mastering the skills of managing microclimatic characteristics such as light, temperature, humidity level, wind strength, as well as the characteristics of water used for irrigation.

- Growing up to 160 plants
- Creating photo/video reports on plant growth in four climatic zones
- Keeping an electronic experiment journal with all the characteristics specified
The Agrobiotechnology Laboratory can accommodate up to 32 students simultaneously, enabling them to conduct their own experiments using five different crops.
